Study on the SME Credit Guarantee System in China
The financing difficulty of SME (small and medium enterprises) in China is one of the critical problems covering economic development. As an important solution to that, establishment of a Credit Guarantee system for SME has been proved essential by developed counties. Nowadays taking guarantee institutions of country, province and city as a core, our country has preliminarily formed a SME credit guarantee system with the foundation of mutual and commercial guarantee institutions. However, there are still many problems in its structure and operation. This paper analyzes present situation of financing difficulty and its causes of SME in our country, and using foreign advanced experience for reference, puts forward the suggestion to perfect the SME credit guarantee system.
