Research on Community Bank and SMEs Relationship Loan

In recent years, studies have shown that the relationship loan could solve the information asymmetry between banks and SMEs, and soft information is the key to the success of relationship loan. Only when SMEs massive soft information is effectively collected, processed and transmitted by bank, the information asymmetry can be fundamentally eliminated. This paper studies the SMEs relationship loan from perspective of community Bank. It shows that community banks have many advantages in collecting, processing and transmissing soft information, compared with the large-scale banks. In addition, this paper also put forward the relevant suggestions to promote the development of relationship loan. It concludes that community bank will provide a new way for SMEs financing.
