The Application of the Competency Model to SMEs Recruitment

Recruitment, as the forepart of human resource management chain, can duly supply a need of various types of employees required for business development. However, subject to SMEsown problems, it is difficult for them to exert the function of recruitment effectively. By analyzing the problems of SMEs recruitment, we propose the principles, procedure and some noteworthy aspects to the application of the Competency Model in SMEs recruitment in this paper, regarding the Competency Model as a strategy and a tool for recruitment, in order to provide some guidance to SMEs recruitment.
