The Researches on International Market Power in Information and Communication Technology Industry Based on a Framework in Vertical and Horizontal Dimensions
Vertical specialization is the main feature of labor division in todays global Information and Communication Technology industry. Based on this feature, the paper constructs a framework to analyze enterprises market power in vertical and horizontal dimensions. There is a deep analysis on the contact between the vertical and horizontal enterprises market power which complement each other. This article argued that manufacturing enterprises in the middle reaches of global value chain should focus on innovation and pay attention to the combination of two dimensions, which would achieve positive interaction between market power and innovation.
