Analysis of boundary conditions accuracy to groundwater modeling
Most of current groundwater models provide the correct calculation method and technique of identification of hydrological concept model. All kinds of boundary condition preprocess usually due from other software. The calculated results are feed back to prove the accuracy and correctness of the boundary condition determination. Thus, the precision of results generally depends on that of the sink and resource estimation. The groundwater recharge of piedmont and river affect the precision of groundwater numerical model deeply. The error is large from routine method groundwater numerical simulation especial in measured data lack region. The distributed hydrology model can use in measured data lack region to model the piedmont and river lateral recharge. HEC-HMS is a conceptual distributed modeling system. The paper use HEC-HMS model simulate the piedmont and river lateral recharge for Visual MODFLOW. The coupling technique improve the boundary conditions and increased the groundwater modeling inaccuracy over 10%.
