Various para-substituted arylboric acids have been widely used in the fields of electronics, chemistry, medicine and biology. Therefore, it is very important to study the preparation and improvement of para-substituted phenylboric acids. In this thesis, the synthesis of two or three different para-substituted phenylboric acid and their improvements were studied in detail. The influencing factors such as temperature, reaction time, reactant molar ratio were analyzed with the orthogonal experiment, a optimized process for the preparation of 4 - tert -butylphenylboric acid (and 4 - isopropyl-phenyl-boric acid) was thus obtained using different alkylborate as original material. The final yield was 69. 5% (and 56. 6%), the purity was 98. 0%. An optimized process for the synthesis of 4 - chlorophenyl-boric acid was also obtained using tri-n-butylborate as boronation reagent The final yield was increased from 62. 0% to 87. 8%, the purity was 98. 0%. Meanwhile, the preliminary synthesis of 4 -bromophenylboric acid was investigated too. Each product was identified by MS, 1HNMR, IR and HPLC.
