SIGLE-AND MULTI-ANALYTE DETERMINATION USING A CHIP-BASED SURFACE ENHANCED RAMAN SCATTERING SYSTEM
A portable analysis system, integrating laminar flow chip with surface-enhanced Raman scattering detection has been developed for single- and multi-analyte analysis in blood. A stable mixing of uric acid and silver colloid was achieved by laminar diffusion in a long snakelike microchannel. Quantitative analysis of uric acid was carried out by a portable Raman spectrometer. The detection limit of uric acid was estimated to be 0. 1 μg/mL. In the multi-analyte analysis with this system, uric acid and xanthine were analyzed simultaneously. The chip-based SERS analysis system is proposed to be a portable, sensitive and multianlyte analysis sensor for diagnosis.
