THE INTEGRATED DESIGN FOR MICROARRAY-IN-A-TUBE DETECTION SYSTEM

A microarray-in-a-tube system had developed by placing a small vessel in an Eppendorf tube. The full biochemical processes were performed in the sealed tube. A detection system with an optical system, an automatic control system has been developed for the microarray-in-a-tube detection. An automatic control system consists of a control circuit and a 2 - D mobile platform to perform scan detection of multi microarray-in-a-tubes. The optical system was developed by means of fluorescente microscope and Nikon D90 camera. Laser was selected as illumination source and a laser beam expansion & energy homogenization system was designed. The whole system is capable of satisfying detection requirements and it has some features such as low fabrication cost, small size, stable and easy to operate.
