FABRICATION OF WEARABLE AG/AGCL ELECTRODES AND ITS APPLICATION IN ECG MEASUREMENT

The wearable health care system which can monitor personal physiological signal without discomfort may be an important role for diagnosis earlier at home or in the community. This paper introduces the fabrication of a kind of wearable Ag/AgCl electrodes and it application in life care system on wrist. The substrate of electrodes is biocompatible material polydimethylsilicone (PDMS) and polyimide. The Ag is evaporated to the substrate. Then the AgCl is electroplated to the surface of the electrode. The electrodes are designed embedding in the chargeable wrist strap of life care system. The electrical properties of the electrodes are sufficient for measuring ECG signals and the obtained ECG signal is shown at the end.
