STUDY ON THE DUNCAN-CHANG MODEL PARAMETERS OF STRESS COMPRESSION FOR MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE

The Duncan-Chang model parameters are studied by laboratory test and theory analysis for municipal solid waste. The method is very simple, practical, and the model parameter is easy to obtain. The results show that the damage ratio is 0.55 to 0.65; The parameter k is decreased by the initial void ratio increased, and the relationship between k and initial void ratio is linear, and the slope of the line is 5.0; The parameter n is about 1.05; The parameter G is between 0.3 and 0.4, and the relationship between G and initial void ratio is linear; The parameter F is between 0 and 0.1, and the relationship between F and initial void ratio is linear too.
