STUDY ON ECOLOGICAL RESTORATION IN THE SOLAR SALTWORK

By means of Dunaliella viridis and Artemia franciscana inoculation in the solar saltwork, the ecological restoration process in the solar salt-production field which received the concentrated seawater from desalination plant was studied. The experiment was carried out in an area receiving concentrated seawater (1.75×104m2), and another area receiving original seawater (3.50×104 m2) was used as control. The results showed that ecological restoration can be achieved by inoculation of Dunaliella viridis and Artemia franciscana in the salt ponds at suitable salinity.
