STATUS QUO AND DEVELOPING TREND OF THE DEEP PROCESSSING SALT PRODUCTS
1 GENERAL SITUATION OF THE PRODUCTION AND CONSUMPTION OF SALT PRODUCTS AT HOME AND ABROAD1.1 Basic situation of salt industry in the worldAt present, the salt output in the world increases steadily, and the salt output in 2006 is 240 million tons. In the past ten year, only the salt output in China increases 30％, the salt output in other countries such as America, Canada, Mexico, Chile, India and Germany also have some increase. The trade for the salt is stable, and the annual trade quantity is commonly about 30 million tons, which equals to 15％ of the total output in the world. The first five countries for exporting the salt is Australia, Mexico, Canada, Holand and Germany, the export quantity of these five countries is the 80％ of the total trade quantity.
