In accordance with actual conditions of salt industry, this essay elaborates the necessity and strategies of further developing salt industry in Jiangsu Province. It states that extending the industrial chain is an essential way to develop the salt industry. Next, the essay treats of relevant measures to extend the industrial chain. Meanwhile, taking Jiangsu Jingshen Salt Industry corporation as an illustration, the essay discusses the advantages of extending the industrial chain.
