Influence of Interactive Television on Electronic Commerce
The development of interactive television has the potential to open new possibilities for electronic commerce, linked to the broadcasting of audiovisual contents. To cater for the commercial needs of increasing customers, more and more enterprises have started to expand their business from internet to television again. Interactive television technologies which act as media of electronic commerce, may bring value drives to viewers, create new income channels and promote the combination of enterprises and media industry. It is necessary for interactive television to change from current walled garden without internet environment to wild forest connecting with electronic commerce by means of internet The relationship between interactive television and electronic commerce is cooperative partners instead of competitors.
