Characters of main metallic minerals in Kalatongke Cu-Ni deposit of China and its geological significance
1 IntroductionKalatongke Ni-Cu sulfide deposit is located in the northern margin of the Junggar terrane, northern Xinjiang, NW China. There are many geologists have researched it since 1980s as it has been discovered and exploration (Wang and Zhao, 1991; Qian et al., 2009; Jiang et al., 2009). Important development have been carried out such as petrogenesis, petrochemistry and ore genesis etc., Wang and Zhao (1991) have done a comparative systemic research about sulfide minerals. On this basis, this paper focus on the composition of the main metal minerals by using the electron microprobe analysis and wish to offer some important science evidences for mineralization and exploration.
