PGE enrichment regularity in Cu-Ni deposits hosted in small mafic-ultramafic intrusions, eastern Xinjiang

The Eastern Tienshan in Xinjiang is a very important tectonic belt. It separates the Sibria plate to the north from the Tarim plate to the south. From the early Paleozoic to the late Paleozoic, the eastern Tienshan was controlled by Siberain and Tarim plates movement mechanism and accompanied by mantle-originated magma ascending to the crust which formed two paralled trench-arc-back-are basin composite tectonic systems (Qin et al., 2002; Li et al., 2006). The eastern Xinjiang region also is one of the most important Ni-Cu-Co metallogenic belts in China. There are many medium sized to large-scale mgmatic Ni-Cu deposits occurred in this region and adjacent areas.
