Jianchaling sulfide nickel ore deposit: magma-or hydrothermal genetic
1 IntroductionJianchaling sulfide nickelore deposit, located in the northern edge of Mian-Lue-Ning triangle district, Shaanxi, China, is the unique nickel deposit in Qinling orogenic belt, and thus more attention has been paid to it since being discovered in 1970. genetically, it is considered as a magmatic deposit, superimposed locally by hydrothermal mineralization resulted from the late granite porphyry. However, the recent geological and geochemical study reveals that the ore-controlling factors of Jianchaling nickle deposit are quite complicated and its genetic type should be further discussed.
