Performance of Small Granular Bed Filter on Control Dust
To improve the performance of granular bed filter, a new style and small granular bed filter was designed and it was made in laboratory. The filtration collecting efficiency and pressure drop of this granual bed filter was investigated by using quartz. A four-level orthogonal experimental measure was adopted in the experimental study and the experimental data were analysied by using method of dimension analysis and multiple element nonlinear regression. The relationship between filtration collecting efficiency and pressure drop with its influence factors were described as multiple correlation formula . Optimize evaluation index model of the granular bed filter was obtained. The collecting efficiency of the small granular bed filter could greater than 95% when collecting more than 10μm particles. The simulation result of pressure drop and collecting efficiency was obtained and simulation results were agreement with experimental measure.
