Simulation Research of Two-phase Flow Cross-Correlation Measurement System
The paper discussed the principle of cross-correlation flow measurement system and its current research status. It introduced an approach to establish a computer simulation model based on Monte Carlo method in a two-phase cross-correlation flow measurement system. The model can be used to study the principle of the sensor as well as the multiple factors affecting the system measurement performance such as sensor geometry, the distance between upstream and downstream sensors along the pipeline axis, the speed and concentration distribution of discrete phase, solidification flow pattern, non-solidification flow pattern, and cross-correlation algorithm etc. It provided a reasonable and effective way to facilitate further development of cross-correlation flow measuring technique.
