Zeta Potential Determination of Particles in Suspension
Characterization of particles is on the center stage in nanotechnology development. The subjects for nanoparticle characterization are currently focused on particle size and particle surface charge. The particle surface charge, characterized by zeta potential, is vital in R&D and QC of nanoparticles suspensions for sample stability and particle surface adsorption or modification. This article summarizes the latest development in particle surface charge determination using elec-trophoretic light scattering for nanoparticles in both dilute and concentrated suspensions.
