Distributed Control Architecture Based on PXI Bus-Mastering with Multi-client Single Server Developed for Cold-rolled Aluminum Foil
Paper shows the presentation on distributed control architecture developed for cold-rolled aluminum foil where the many process parameters to be controlled, such as automatic gauge control (AGC), automatic flatness control (AFC) and rolling force etc. Based on PXI bus-mastering as hardware and LabVIEW 7.1 as software, the multi-client single server distributed architecture, with real-time operation and remote data sharing, is achieved, by making use of the DataSocket and the simple and effective TCP/IP messaging protocol. The good control effect and high performance have been confirmed in the practical measurement and automation system applications.
