THE ASSESSMENT OF LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF A RIGID RRAME CONTINUOUS ARCH BRIDGE BY STATIC AND DYNAMIC LOAD TEST
To probe the service condition and evaluate the remain strength of a frame rigid arch bridge with five continuous spans, which many deteriorations have been found after many years’ service, general appearance inspection, field survey and static and dynamic load test were carried out. In this paper, the process of the test scheme, implementing and data processing were discussed; a reasonable evaluation of bearing capacity and safety of the bridge has been made. In addition, some advice for maintenance and strengthening of the bridge has been proposed. This paper could provide some references for the similar project.
