Study on TiC/Ni coating by Laser alloying In-situ Fabricated in the Internal Surface of N80 Tubing
Ni-Cr-Ti-C alloyed coating in the N80 tubing inwalls was fabricated by laser alloying. Microstructure、 phase structure and hardness and corrosion behavior of alloyed coating have been analyzed through Optical microscope (OM), X-ray diffractometer (XRD), TEM, Micro sclerometer and M398 electrochemistry. The result shows that laser alloying zone is composed of(Fe,Cr,Ni)、 (Fe,Ni) solid solution、 (Fe,C) martensite and TiC hard phase; There is certain phase relation between TiC phase and γ-Ni phase. the coherence and the compatibility of both are fine, the interface bonding strength is high. There is certain direction dislocation in TiC pellet and disorderly dislocation in y-Ni. Hardness of alloyed layer is enhanced greatly with small grain and homogeneous structure; the corrosion current reduces from 19.27μA/cm2 of substrate to 7.472μA/cm2 of alloyed layer, the corrosion resistance was obviously improved.
