Study on Electrical Property of Alumina gel-TiB2 Cathode Material

摘要：

The wettable TiB2 cathode material used in aluminum electrolysis is prepared using alumina gel, TiB2 and Petroleum coke powder. According to the different charge mixture and treatment, the electrical property of TiB2 cathode material has been studied. The results show that the resistivity of TiB2 cathode material is lower than 50μΩ·cm under as follows conditions, TiB2: alumina gel is 9:1, the pH of alumina gel is 7.5～8.5, sintering temperature is 1200℃ at strong reducing atmosphere.
