Photoluminescence Properties of LaPO4:Eu3+ Nanoparticles Synthesized by Ozalate Coprecipitation Method
This paper discussed that the nanoscale rare earth luminescent materials of LaPO4:Eu3+ which was prepared in oxalate precipitation method using oxalic acid as the coordination reagent. Characterization with XRD, SEM, infrared spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy were carried out. The experimental results showed that the luminescent properties of the samples closely related to their sintering temperature and particle size. The higher the sintering temperature and the better the samples crystallized, the higher luminescent intensity of the samples. The Eu3+ content had effect on luminescent properties and the optimized Eu3+ content was 1%. The emission spectrum showed that this nano-luminescent material could more effectively emit the strong luminescence at 580 and 594nm excited by short ultraviolet light.
