Numerical Study on Performances of Steam-jet Pump at Different Operating Conditions
A transonic flow mathematic model based on standard k-e turbulence model was proposed to investigate the mixing flow behaviors of primary and secondary fluid in steam ejector. The simulation was carried out to predict the flow characteristics at different parameters of back pressure and temperature of working fluid (primary fluid) by commercial computational fluid dynamics (CFD) code FLUENT 6.0. The simulation results shown that the performances of steam ejector are affected by operating conditions and the simulation results could be useful for us to understand the relationship between flow characteristics and operating conditions and improve the performance of steam ejector.
