Application of Entropy Weight and Fuzzy AHP to Priority Decision-making of Mechanical Product Projects

Machinery makers are limited with resources or productivity while contacting several projects. In resource conflicts, they should make priority orders for the projects. The priority ones should enjoy resources first. This paper combines fuzzy mathemat ics with analytic hierarchy process and entropy weight, in line with characteristics of mechanical products, based on consideration of various factors of mechanical product project priority. The model combines the subjective judgment with object ive calculation, reducing notably errors made by the subjective judgment in analytic hierarchy process. The case of priority assessment of three collateral mechanical product projects justified feasibility and practicability of the model, providing a scientific theoretical quantitative proof for decision makers of mechanical companies.
