Study on Improving Service-oriented Product Design Efficiency
This paper provides insight in efficient methods for designing new service product. The economic globalization and the fierce competit ion are placing an ever-increasing emphasis on the rapid development and introduction of new products. Central to this aim is improving the efficiency of product design. In this article, we proposed the goal of creating a service product is to me et the customers requirements and using quality function deployment (QFD) to develop new p roducts. On the basis of illustrating the merits of QFD, the research suggested that using QFD is better focus on adequate describing requirements, handing relations between requirements and the technology, which contributes to the product innovation performance. Finally, the results from the applicat ion and testing of this method within a case study are summarized and used to help derive conclusions regarding the validity of the research.
