Research of Collaborative Fashion Product Design System Based on Knowledge Management
In traditional fashion product design system, the design directors personal taste and experience are usually the orientation for design team, and the different departments in the fashion enterprise are working separately, so the whole product design process tend to be subjective, inefficient, and waste lots of design resource. With the development of globalization of fashion market and mass customization manufacturing, the notion of Collaborative Design has risen up in fashion industry. The collaborative design demands the mult i-knowledge from communicat ion and sharing of knowledge in trend, market ing, scheme, design, material, technique, etc. The paper supposes a prototype that enables different departments in fashion enterprise to obtain, share and use the knowledge collaboratively with Knowledge Management, and collaboratively optimize the fashion product design process.
