Research on Multi-Gear Pump Based on CFD

The multi-gear pump is the new hydraulic pump which is researched and developed on the ordinary gear pumps foundation. Without the influence of load on the flow, it can afford equ al amounts of oil to each lubricant point. The volume is relatively small, but it can reach the effect of several pumps. In order to catch the variation of flow field inside of mult i-gear pump, the Dynamic grid technology in fluent software is used to numerically simulate the flow in multi-gear pump, and then the flow variation inside of mult i-gear pump with gear rotating is analyzed. Thus lays the foundation for reverse design and the structure optimization of mult i-gear pump.
