The Research of Multiple Sensors of Data Fusion Arithmetic and Realization of DSP
Data fusion is a new concept; it is a method for acquiring informat ion. Data fusion has different forms in different fields. Two kinds of arithmetic of data fusion are introduced, which are weighted fusion method and gray-scale modulation method. The principle is to have pictures fused together after adjustments based on how much information each picture has in order to have more detail informat ion reflected visually. Gray-scale modulation is an effective image fusion method which is proved useful in fusing visible light and infrared and it is yet to be proved in fus ing multi-frequency infrared images. Based on DSP6701 hardware frame and software flow, finally the pictures of final trial proves this arithmet ic can obtain satisfactory result.
