Fractal Theory and Its Application in Product Configuration Design

摘要：

By analyzing the relationship between fractal theory and product configuration design, the idea of applying fractal theory in product configuration design is proposed. One kind of product configuraiton element model based on the concept of fractal is constructed; and a configurable basic product structure is designed. In response to the configurable model and structure, an approach to recursive configuration reasoning based on fractal theory and knowledge engineering is presented. This new approach has the characteristics of logical description, efficient configuration of product and easy integration with other application systems.
