Comparative Study on the Development of Technical Standards in the Service Industry
The paper makes a general quantitative analysis on the establishment of service standards at the national and international levels. It shows that the number of service standards increases rather steady on quantitative aspects, and the service within subcategories of quality, transport, company organization and management and service largely need to be oriented towards the provision of standardized services at the international level. There is a time lag between the formulation and implementation of standards, and some types of service standard are blank in China, including education, patent and intellectual, etc.
