Studies on Technology Innovation Model Selection of China Automobile Brands

World automobile industry is facing fierce competition currently. In order to build up independent distinctions and advantages, Chinas auto brands are suggested to conduct technology innovation and to select a proper model conducive to enhance independent R&D capabilities, build own brands independently, have own voices in the technical area and boast leadership advantages in innovation. Thereafter Chinas auto brands can win the initiat ive to participate competition in the international market. This essay introduces technology innovation model of Chinas own car brands in three stages, and analyzes the key issues of car brands in technology innovation. The author furthermor e illustrates four models for automobile technology innovation. Automakers can choose their own mode of technology innovation referring to their financial and scientific research competence.
