Revelation of the Sino-Japanese War to Modern Manufacturing Industry of China

摘要：

The outbreak of the Sino-Japanese War in 1894 is one of the most important events in Chinese modern history. In the following one hundred years, China struggled herself in fighting with a series of invasions of the western superpowers, falling into a long-term darkness and humiliation. Yet, the difficulties faced by modern manufacturing industry of China are alarmingly similar in comparison with those faced by the Qing Dynasty before the Sino-Japanese War. This paper, from the perspective of the history and politics, focuses on an analysis of the background of the Chinese manufacturing industry during the Sino-Japanese War, pointing out that the failure of Chinese manufacturing industry has actually led to the failure of the Sino-Japanese War and then suggesting the revelation of Sino-Japanese War to modern manufacturing industry of China.
