Study on the Relativity between Technology Innovation Capability and Regional Industrial Structure

Applying Pearson mathematical model, we carry out comparat ive study on the correlation between Chinas technology innovation capability and regional industrial structure. Empirica l results show that the improvement of technology innovation capability of the eastern region is conducive to the development of the tertiary industry; the relativity between technology innovation capability and the secondary & tertiary industry in the central region is the most significant; in the western region, the relativity between technology innovation capability and the three industries is also significant; the optimization of the industrial structure of the northeastern region plays a strong role to promote regional technology innovation capability. The research conclusion shows that the promotion of regional technology innovation capability can promote the development of the tertiary industry, in turn, the optimization of the tertiary industry structure will improve the whole regional technology innovation capability.
