From Industry Cluster to Technology Brokering-the Innovative Evolutionary Path of SMEs
Small and medium enterprises (SMEs) frequently cannot make very satisfactory service because they can not implement R&D projects due to limited resources. However, when the RD costs can be divided among partners, product development becomes a more feasible concept. SMEs can participate in industry cluster to win through at the beginning, although occasional and out -of-order informat ion exchange can bring about a litt le product innovation; and then based on the industry cluster, SMEs can establish network and use internet to get it. However, occasional and ordered information exchange can bring about general product innovation; finally, from SMEs network some enterprises are found good at innovation, just like conjunct product design center—technology brokering, can get any kind of innovation. Moreover, inevitable and ordered information exchange can bring about lots of product innovation. The study focuses on analysis the innovative evolutionary path of SMEs, according this path government can promote SMEs innovation.
