Study on the Development Paths of American Biotechnology Pharmaceutical Enterprises and Its Revelation

摘要：

Under the background of biotechnology pharmaceutical industries, the paper choosing four American biotechnology pharmaceutical enterprises as the research subjects: Amgen, Genentech, Biogen and Genzeme . Through analyzing the development course of these enterprises, three typical development paths zre concluded: self-development by means of traditional large-scale enterprises, self-integrated development and ―tie-core‖ incremental development. Meanwhile, the reasons why different enterprises choose different paths are analyzed. At last, revelations for China biotechnology enterprises development path are put forward based on above study and such suggestions aim at different enterprise type.
