Study on the Relationship between Outsourcing and Enterprises’ Innovative Capability Based on Organizational Learning
Based on the Resource-Based View (RBV), this paper analyzes the strategic advantages of outsourcing and its impact on enterprises innovative capability. Through the optimization of resource allocation, the limited resources are utilized for developing core act ivities and meanwhile the peripheral activities are outsourced to suppliers, thus making use of the resources of outside enterprises and form complementary advantages with the enterprises own resources. During cooperation, t he organizat ional learning is enhanced to strengthen the absorption and application of external knowledge and improve the efficiency of learning and absorbing knowledge. Therefore, the enterprises innovative capability is bettered. Based on this, the theoretical model is built for the relationship between outsourcing and enterprises innovative capability, so as to propose a relevant hypothesis, holding that outsourcing has positive effects on enterprises innovative capability.
