Institution Innovation for Land Acquisition in China
This paper analyzes the various factors affecting the satisfaction level of project-affected persons during the process of land requisition. The results demonstrate that, besides the monetary compensation, non-monetary compensation such as opportunities of business, agricultural development, living conditions after demolition and environment of resettlement are all important factors. In a word, as a non-market compensation country, in order not to reduce the satisfaction level of PAPs, both monetary and non-monetary compensation should be attached great importance.
