Early Warning Mechanism of Enterprise Logistics Risk Based on Supply Chain Management

With the rapid development of enterprise logistics business, risk of enterprise logistics is also increasing. To address this problem, effective enterprise logistics risk (ELR) management is encountering increasing interest in both the academic and practitioner communities. The focus of ELR management is early warning and prevention in advance, rather than control afterwards. The paper begins with a discussion of the concept of early warning of ELR, and then explores the sources and symptoms of ELR. Base on these, the early warning mechanism of ELR based on supply chain management (SCM) is thoroughly explained from three aspects: (1) relat ionship between SCM and early warning mechanism of ELR; (2) characteristics of early warning mechanism of ELR; (3) construction of early warning mechanism of ELR.
