Creativity Tendency of Chinese Science-Technology Talents: The Individual and Regional Influencing Factors and Their Interaction Effect

The study theorized and examined the individual and regional factors influencing the creative tendency of Chinese Science-Technology talents including gender, age, education, technical t itle and region, and the interaction effect of individual and regional factors. Based on a sample of 5180 Science-Technology talents from 31 provinces and seven national institutes, we used One-way ANOVA and MANOVA to test our hypothesis and found the infusing pattern of individ ual and regional factors and their interaction effect on creative tendency of Science-Technology talents. Theoretical and practical implications for innovation management were provided finally.
