Study on Cultural Integration Process of Merger & Acquisition based on the Theory of Organizational Change by Lewin
Recent years with the increasing tendency of M&A, the issue of M&A became more important than ever, but the consequence of it is not satisfying, such as the unsuccessful M&A cases of Chinese flagship companies, Lenovo and TCL. The underperformance of M&A lies in the lack of execution ability and the disability to relieve the cultural conflict. Through case study a nd theoretical reasoning this paper wants to establish a process with executive ability of cultural integration from pre-M&A to post-M&A, based on pre-M&A to post-M&A, and the Lewins organizational change of unfreezing—changing—refreezing.
