Structure of Interpersonal Communication Competence based on Factor Analysis
In this paper, the structure of the interpersonal communicat ion competence (ICC) is constructed from the perspective of the function of psychological activit ies. The ICC is sorted into three dimensions, which are communicat ion skill (CS), communication cognition (CC) and communication tendency (CT). Taking the instrument made by the domestic scholar, with the exploratory factor analysis, five factors of ICC are selected including verbal expression, nonverbal expression, attentively listening, CC and CT, which may explain 74.23％ of the population variance. Besides, the three-dimension structure of the ICC is confirmed in this thesis via the questionnaire survey.
