Design of Supermarket Intelligent Information Management System Based on RFID and ZigBee Technology
A iming at scheduling problems of large supermarket, designing an intelligent information management system which combines RFID technology and Zigbee wireless sensor networks technology. This article introduces basic theory of RFID and Zigbee WSNs technology and also finishes design of intelligent information management system based on RFID and Zigbee technology. This system includes electronic tags, reader, Zigbee wireless sensor network nodes and central management computers, which archive functions of supermarket goods transportation management, storage management, products display management and selling management. System is designed with concept of modularizat ion. It applies the principles of easy expanding and maintenance. According to applied experiment results, this system is good for solving two primal problems in supermarkets: out of stock and loss of goods, at the same times it imp roves shopping environment and enterprises competitive powe r. Generally this system has definite application value.
