On Evaluation System for College Hospitality Program Websites
A benchmark study was conducted of 126 usable hospitality program websites , examining content features as well as technological design features. The results were used to frame an evaluation instrument to measure the student-centeredness of college program websites. One of the practical implications of the study is a move toward the use of standardized website evaluation attributes among hospitality program webs ite developers. Programs will be better able to gauge how effectively they are using web technology to move them toward advanced levels of student -centeredness in compliance with regional accreditation goals.
