Test and study of the trapped magnetic field in YBa2Cu3O7-δsuperconductor

Using JCK-VI Fast Magnetizer, YBaCuO superconductors were magnetized by pulsed magnetic field in a wide range of 0T-18T.We measured the trapped magnetic profile with Hall probe scanning after pulsed field magnetization and read the relevant data by X-Y recorder connected to the Hall probe. The peak values of magnetic field distribution in the radial direction of all the samples nearly reach the maximum and the width of the curves is narrower when pulsed magnetic field is 12T. When the sintering temperature is held at 920 ℃ about 24h and the heating temperature rate is 120 ℃/h, the density is high and the maximum trapped magnetic field changes slowly as the external field changed.
