The Research on the Forecast Model of Hydraulic Fracturing Process
Hydraulic Fracturing plays an important role in increasing production on low permeability reservoir for oil mining industry. Hydraulic fracturing is comprised of many complex processes; fracture extension is the most important process of them. Due to the various limitations of technologies, the traditional classic model is hardly to provide the visualization simulation for these complex processes just by outputting final simulation result. The engineer can not get the right judgment based on this un-precise result and without knowing the detail of processes. For improving the precision and correctness, we have built a new interactive and visualize system for forecasting the process of Hydraulic Fracturing. This system uses the modern computer visualization technology and on one new built 3-D model. This model integrates the traditional classic 2-D model and Total Fracturing Fluid Leak-off Coefficient. The final system is built on MATLAB. The actual application effect of this model is same as the expectation.
