Design of an Intelligent Digital Barometer Based on AVR
The design of a precise intelligent digital barometer based on AVR Atmega8 is introduced in this paper. It completed with hardware part and software part. The system consists of power supply, sensors, single-chip, digital displays and other parts. The method is as following: The analog voltage value corresponding atmospheric pressure value is received by pressure sensor. All these signals are accessed to single-chip and processed, then shown the corresponding pressure value by 4-LED display circuit under the control of single-chip. This intelligent digital barometer not only can show the current atmospheric pressure value, but also can monitor, correct and modify settings of pressure sensor so as temperature display functions. According to the method described in this article, the digital barometer is smart, convenient, accurate and intelligent.
