Design of An Automatic Hydraulic Testing System for Engineering Machinery Based on PXI Bus And Modular Instrument Technology

A condition monitoring and fault diagnosis system for engineering machinery hydraulic system is presented. The system consists of PXI bus chassis, embedded controller, data acquisition modular card, signal condition modular card and other interface circuits. The systems replaceable adapter responsible for measurement sensor and test resource of hydraulic system meets the requirements general-purpose use and updated use, and it is dedicated and nonstandard to adapt to the different hydraulic system under test. In the development the database of SQL Server 2005 is used to implement the automation of test process. All of the input parameters, output result data and engineering machinery information are stored in the database files. So the test task and test program are separated to ensure efficiency of application software. In the development of software, we applied virtual instrumentation platform of of LabWindows/CVI, SQL database language, as well as the use of standardized bus architecture and modular instrument technique. The system featured excellent expansibility and engineering practicability and wide application in hydraulic system fault test and diagnosis.
